The Operations Specialist position in Missouri City, TX, involves the operation and maintenance of various equipment including pipelines, compressors, and auxiliary systems. Responsibilities

• Install, repair, service and maintain valves, pipeline appurtenances, and measurement equipment.
• Maintain and operate equipment such as industrial tractors, water pumps, and air compressors.
• Represent the company during contacts with landowners and public officials.
• Oversee construction and maintenance activities performed by third parties.
• Train and oversee company and third-party personnel.
• Perform governmental compliance activities with agencies like DOT and EPA.
• Diagnose and repair engines, turbines, pumps, seals, valves, and instruments.
• Complete all applicable documentation and record keeping.
• Participate in safety programs and initiatives.
• Perform minor electrical maintenance.

Requirements

• High School degree or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills including knowledge of MS Office.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Ability to respond to callouts and emergencies during and after regular business hours.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with customers, suppliers, and management.

Additional Information

• Must be able to withstand extreme weather conditions.
• Must be able to frequently enter confined spaces and work from elevated platforms.
• Overtime may be required.
