Job Description

Overview

We are a 45 year-old family business that provides construction services to both public and private sectors, focusing on civils, underground utility, infrastructure, and site development. We are seeking a Pipeline Foreman with experience in steel pipeline or water main installation to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers engaged in the installation, maintenance, and repair of steel pipeline systems.
  • Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with safety standards, project specifications, and quality requirements.
  • Plan and schedule work activities, determine manpower requirements, and set work priorities.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other foremen to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Inspect work sites to monitor progress and adherence to established plans and specifications.
  • Train and mentor crew members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Prepare and submit reports on work activities, operations, and crew productivity.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Pipeline Foreman or in a similar role in the construction industry.
  • Experience within water main/steel is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, safety regulations, and quality control procedures.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various job sites as required.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a relevant field will be considered an advantage.
