Overview

Ascent Hospitality is seeking a qualified hospitality leader to join their Maintenance Team, responsible for the upkeep and repair of hotel infrastructure. The role emphasizes teamwork and a commitment to providing excellent service to guests.

Responsibilities

• Identify maintenance and repair issues and initiate work orders.
• Report and follow up on maintenance deficiencies.
• Complete work orders and necessary assigned repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance and maintain mechanical logs.
• Resolve guest problems and handle requests in a timely manner.
• Complete duty rounds checklists and correct noted problems.
• Use office equipment, EMS system, and Life Safety Systems.
• Be cross-trained in all aspects of the department.
• Maintain effective communication with operational areas.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent is required; some college preferred.
• Preferred 1 year related experience or training.
• Must be organized and have good time management skills.
• Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Ability to take direction and carry out instructions.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts.
• Excellent customer service skills are necessary.
• Ability to work without constant supervision.
