Job Description

Overview

We’re looking for experienced HDPE Pipefitters to join our growing telecom construction team, responsible for installing, preparing, joining, and protecting HDPE conduit for fiber-optic infrastructure while traveling throughout Arizona and surrounding states.

Responsibilities

  • Install, lay out, align, and assemble HDPE pipe ranging from 4” to 8” diameter in accordance with project specifications and manufacturer requirements.
  • Measure, cut and prepare HDPE pipe.
  • Join HDPE conduit using manufacturer-specified adhesive bonding systems, including proper surface preparation, adhesive mixing/application, and curing procedures.
  • Pull, place and secure conduit.
  • Inspect completed joints and conduit runs.
  • Assist with trenching, bedding, pipe placement, tie-ins, and backfill operations as required.
  • Be willing and able to perform general manual labor when not actively fitting.
  • Follow company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and site-specific requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in conduit installation preferably in underground utilities, telecommunications or civil construction.
  • Ability to accurately measure, cut and assemble conduit.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
