Overview

Okland is a commercial general contractor and construction management company with over 1,300 team members, specializing in complex projects across various markets. The Piping Superintendent will lead the installation of piping systems in semiconductor or advanced manufacturing environments, ensuring safety and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily piping installation activities.
  • Enforce cleanroom and contamination-control requirements.
  • Direct and mentor pipefitters, welders, and technicians while managing crew productivity.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, QA/QC, safety, and other trades.
  • Track progress against the schedule and implement recovery plans.
  • Support inspection and testing while ensuring compliance with project specifications.
  • Conduct daily toolbox talks and safety observations.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of industrial piping experience, with at least 4–5 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong working knowledge of high-purity piping systems.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret P&IDs, isometrics, and construction drawings.
  • Experience on semiconductor fab or advanced manufacturing projects is preferred.
  • Current or ability to obtain required site credentials and cleanroom access.
  • OSHA 30 and relevant safety certifications are preferred.
