Overview

The Field Service Engineer is responsible for providing technical service support for Comecer equipment to North American customers, focusing on mechanical and electrical aspects. This role also involves driving sales of maintenance agreements and participating in installation activities for various projects in Radiopharma, Pharma, and Cell & Gene Therapy.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment at customer sites in the United States and Canada.
  • Provide remote technical support by telephone and online for customers.
  • Utilize internal FUSION software to create and track machine issues using service tickets.
  • Execute service at customer sites based on instructions from the Service Planner.
  • Diagnose and address equipment problems in a timely manner.
  • Serve as a support engineer for mechanical and electrical issues with Comecer equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance activities on Comecer equipment and systems.
  • Ship and receive customer orders and installation equipment.
  • Order and track spare parts and consumables inventory.
  • Organize the archive of user manuals and technical documentation.
  • Seek out and assist in negotiating maintenance packages and service contracts.
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, vendors, and customers.
  • Continually seek technical and product training.
