Overview

Lennox is an industry leader in energy-efficient climate-control solutions, focused on sustainability and innovation. The Piper I role involves fabricating, cutting, and brazing pipes to carry refrigerants under direct supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricates pipe systems of various shapes, sizes, and pressures.
  • Ensures proper placement and alignment according to general blueprints and instructions.
  • Brazes fabricated pipes to make the specified product work as designed.
  • Performs a variety of assembly, fabrication, production, and operator tasks.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of brazing.
  • Basic understanding of data charts, specification diagrams, and work orders.
  • Able to determine fabrication needs from general diagrams.
  • Able to determine required equipment and settings with precision control and dexterity.
  • May be required to take related training and/or pass skills tests.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds and remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
  • A high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Information

  • This is an hourly non-exempt role.
  • Employees are eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week.
