Overview

The Laborer (Travel) position involves cleaning and preparing construction job sites for the erection of structures and buildings. The role requires flexibility in working hours and a commitment to safety and teamwork, aligned with the company's core values.

Responsibilities

  • Stacks lumber, wood products, reinforced steel, tools, and other materials on job sites.
  • Dismantles wood forms, removes concrete rubble, and spreads materials using handheld tools.
  • Removes finishes from wood or concrete products and sands surfaces for finishing.
  • Inspects, organizes, and cleans materials and tools on the job site.
  • Changes blades and inspects tools and equipment as needed.
  • Maintains an adequate supply of drinking water and cooling station supplies.
  • Assists in measuring materials and surfaces.
  • Keeps workers supplied with materials, tools, and equipment as instructed.
  • Maintains equipment and tools for long-lasting use.
  • Maintains confidentiality regarding company information.

Requirements

  • A minimum of one year of experience in the construction industry is preferred.
  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Ability to work in varying weather and site conditions.
  • Ability to lift, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reach.

Additional Information

  • Requires flexibility to work different shifts and long hours (8-12 hours).
