Overview

TIC is seeking candidates for foreman opportunities across various construction trades, including Boilermaker, Carpenter, Electrician, and more. Interested individuals can express their interest through their current supervisor or by calling the job hotline.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate and organize people, equipment, tools and materials for construction projects.
  • Ensure that construction equipment is correctly operated and maintained.
  • Maintain accurate reporting records including job quantities, productivity rates, time sheets and daily management reports.
  • Assist in developing a weekly schedule and in carrying out sequence of activities for assigned crew.
  • Ensure timely completion of work assignments within estimated costs while maintaining quality workmanship.
  • Responsible for the safety of the crew and conduct operations according to safety rules.
  • Conduct toolbox meetings and communicate safety concerns, work scope, plans and schedules to crew.
  • Monitor compliance with all Company policies by employees under supervision.

Requirements

  • May require a high school diploma or equivalent with previous experience in the field.
  • Ability to demonstrate thorough knowledge and skill to perform all essential functions of craft workers.
  • Ability to perform task planning to safely and efficiently carry out work assignments.
  • Have a working knowledge of scheduling, material control, and job cost management systems.
  • Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions.
  • Must be a good communicator, motivator, and team player.
  • Able to meet all physical requirements.
  • Must have all required tools.
  • Expected to climb and work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Able to work overtime, nights, and weekends as required.
  • May require a valid state issued driver's license.

Compensation ranges from $26.00/hr to $40.00/hr based on experience and skillset.
