Overview

This is an opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to work in a precision manufacturing environment, maintaining and troubleshooting CNC and manual machinery for a long-established manufacturer in the aerospace, defence, medical, and high-technology industries, supported by a multi-billion-dollar global manufacturing group.

Responsibilities

  • Complete preventative maintenance across CNC and manual machinery
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment faults
  • Repair and replace gearboxes, bearings, motors and machine components
  • Complete corrective repairs to minimise production downtime
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records

Requirements

  • Strong mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting experience
  • Experience maintaining CNC and/or industrial machinery
  • Experience with gearboxes, bearings, motors and mechanical components
  • Confident use of hand and power tools
  • PLC / Controls experience advantageous but not essential
