Overview

We're looking for someone to build, repair, and maintain the UAV systems that our engineering work runs on. This role involves assembling airframes, building harnesses, soldering, fabricating mounts and cases, and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems during integration.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, repair, and maintain small UAV systems.
  • Organize and manage drone parts, tools, and inventory.
  • Solder wires, connectors, and PCB components.
  • Build and troubleshoot wiring harnesses using pinouts and wiring diagrams.
  • Configure drones using QGroundControl (QGC) and Linux.
  • Design and modify custom mounts and hardware cases using CAD software.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.

Requirements

  • Experience with hand tools and precision mechanical assembly.
  • Basic soldering and electronics experience.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams and pinouts.
  • Familiarity with Linux and command-line tools.
  • CAD design experience.
  • Ability to work independently, problem-solve, and learn quickly.
