Overview

We are partnering with a well-established precision manufacturing company that produces high-quality machined metal components. We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join its manufacturing team, responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues
  • Respond to machine breakdowns and complete repairs to minimize downtime
  • Inspect machinery and identify potential maintenance concerns before they become major issues
  • Replace, repair, and adjust machine components, motors, bearings, belts, sensors, and other equipment parts
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals, diagrams, and technical documentation
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders
  • Support machine installations, equipment moves, and facility improvement projects
  • Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and lockout/tagout practices
  • Collaborate with production personnel to improve equipment reliability and performance
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity and efficiency

Requirements

  • Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting and repair skills
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, motors, pneumatic systems, and hydraulics
  • Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and safety-focused work ethic
