Overview

Greif is a global leader in performance packaging, delivering innovative solutions across various industries. The Senior Maintenance Technician will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot machinery issues, and mentor junior mechanics while ensuring safety compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance in accordance with procedures.
  • Conduct visual inspections and diagnostic tests on machinery.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose complex mechanical issues.
  • Document maintenance and repair activities.
  • Inspect and maintain tools and equipment in the workshop.
  • Manage inventory of supplies and place replacement orders.
  • Participate in projects involving machinery installation and modification.
  • Follow technical documents and provide input for improvements.
  • Complete all associated paperwork for maintenance tasks.
  • Mentor junior mechanics and promote safety procedures.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 4 or more years of experience in maintenance.
  • Advanced knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting complex issues.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents and blueprints.
  • Skill in documenting repairs and recommending upgrades.
  • Ability to mentor junior mechanics.
  • Organizational skills for managing supplies.
  • Experience with equipment installations and modifications.
