Overview

The Davey Tree Expert Company is seeking a Mechanic to oversee the maintenance, functionality, and repairs of company equipment, tools, and materials across three locations: Wilmington, King of Prussia, and Warminster, PA. This role requires a dynamic individual who can ensure the operational readiness of various vehicles and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and repair office vehicles and equipment including CDL vehicles, pick-up trucks, aerial lifts, brush chippers, mobile equipment, and small engine equipment.
  • Properly maintain, prepare, and operate all tools and equipment including chainsaws and chippers.

Requirements

  • Experience in truck mechanical repairs, diesel engines, and hydraulics.
  • Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR, and defensive driving course upon hire.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Preferred but not required: Valid CDL driver's license.
