Overview

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a full-time Industrial Welder for the 2nd Shift in Sherman, TX. The position involves operating welding equipment, troubleshooting machine problems, and ensuring quality documentation on parts.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, understand and proficiently operate all welding equipment.
  • Troubleshoot various and appropriate machine problems.
  • ID and tag shop orders with the product and retrieve/enter data into the system.
  • Ensure quality and proper documentation on all parts.
  • Maintain components and supplies as required to operate efficiently.
  • Weld components based on print specifications.
  • Perform 5S & Continuous Improvement activities.

Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of one (1) year TIG and MIG welding experience.
  • Must have a High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • AWS Weld Certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years TIG/MIG Welding experience preferred.
  • Minimum of one (1) year utilizing blueprints (AWS weld symbols) and using simple measuring tools preferred.
  • Basic computer skills.

Additional Information

  • Core hours are 2:30pm to 11:00pm.
  • Hourly rate is $22.71/hour + $1.20/hour shift differential.
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.
  • Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of Sherman, TX will be considered.
  • Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

What you'll be running
