Overview

Pursuit Aerospace is a global manufacturer of complex aircraft engine components, committed to operational improvement and customer service. They are seeking a motivated Welder II for their aerospace manufacturing team to perform core welding work and ensure precision welding of aerospace components.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and perform all fusion welding operations, both manual and automatic.
  • Check welds visually and dimensionally for conformance to blueprints and specifications.
  • Conduct specified fusion welding tests.
  • Assign jobs according to priority list.
  • Have a working knowledge of welding practice and weld-ability of current metal groups.
  • Weld on various alloys including stainless steel, nickel, and titanium.
  • Recommend tooling and fixturing design for complex weldments.
  • Complete fillet and groove welds in multiple positions.
  • Perform light sheet metal work related to welding.
  • Read and interpret prints involving weld symbols.
  • Demonstrate good mechanical aptitude.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of three years of related experience and/or training/certification in welding.
  • Current certification in all current metal groups.
  • Ability to meet specified quality standards of aircraft welding.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship.
  • Ability to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

  • Location: Stuart, FL – Onsite.
  • Work schedule: Sunday to Thursday, 10 PM to 6:30 AM.
  • 10% Shift Differential.
