Overview

As a Welder at Honeywell Technologies, you will support the fabrication and assembly of innovative heat exchangers, primarily through welding and pipefitting. This role involves ensuring work is safe, efficient, and meets top-quality standards in a climate-controlled environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform welding operations in accordance with engineering specifications, industry standards, and quality requirements.
  • Utilize semi-automatic and manual welding processes to complete assigned work.
  • Perform fitting, cutting, grinding, and finishing operations as required.
  • Inspect completed welds for quality and identify any defects or inconsistencies.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and ensure proper operation of welding equipment.
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and workplace regulations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of prior aluminum welding experience.
  • Strong knowledge of welding techniques and equipment, aluminum welding experience is required.
  • Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints and specifications; familiarity with AWS welding symbols is required.
  • Strong understanding of mathematics, geometry, and angles; adept in using the metric system.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team and maintain a fast-paced work environment.
  • Willingness to work at heights up to 30 feet, in confined spaces, and lift up to 30 lbs.

  • Work will be performed in an indoor, climate-controlled environment.
  • This position requires training on 1st shift for an initial period before transitioning to 3rd shift (11:00pm-7:00am).
