Overview

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Structural Engineer for the Sentinel program, located in Manhattan Beach, CA or Roy, Utah. This role offers opportunities to work on revolutionary systems that impact people's lives and may include relocation assistance.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the design/analysis of facilities and related subsystems for the Sentinel program.
  • Analyze and develop structural engineering specifications involving various materials.
  • Conduct damage tolerance, durability, and structural modeling analyses.
  • Utilize tools such as CATIA, IDEAS, ProEngineer, and various software applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 2 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 0 years of experience.
  • Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Experience running dynamic and/or static analysis.
  • Experience with ABAQUS, ANSYS, and FEMAP (w/Nastran).
  • Experience in programming and using MATLAB (or equivalent) for analysis.
