Overview

Stellar Energy is seeking a Structural Welder in Fort Worth, TX, to perform various welding functions on structural plate and 6G pipe using SMAW, FCAW, and GTAW. The company specializes in liquid-to-chip cooling solutions for data centers and industrial manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Understand job-specific WPS/PQRs and set up machines for performance in all positions.
  • Analyze blueprints for weld insignia and apply them to assembly components.
  • Identify, measure, hand dress, cut, and fit metal surfaces for welding.
  • Conduct visual observation of pre and post-welded surfaces and interpret job requirements.
  • Interpret insufficient weld criteria and efficiently blend to repair.
  • Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Complete daily work assignments while monitoring quality, safety, and health regulations.
  • Operate overhead cranes and forklifts.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience in threading, grinding, welding, brazing, rigging, plasma cutting, and gas arc cutting.
  • Related experience or training.
  • 6+ years of experience in Welding SMAW, FCAW, and GTAW is preferred.
  • 2 years of vocational technical training is preferred.
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA.

Additional Information

  • This is a full-time position.
  • First shift is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Second shift is Monday through Thursday, 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.
  • Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
  • Travel is primarily not required, except for local travel during the business day.
  • The position operates out of a fabrication facility.

What you'll be running
