Overview

We are looking for an experienced Orbital Welder to join our commercial construction team in the Austin, TX area. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with orbital welding equipment and commercial or industrial piping.

Responsibilities

  • Operate orbital welding equipment and perform high-quality welds on piping systems.
  • Read blueprints, isometric drawings, weld procedures, and project specifications.
  • Prepare, fit, align, and clean pipe and fittings prior to welding.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work area while meeting project schedules and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Previous orbital welding experience required; commercial or industrial construction experience preferred.
  • TIG/GTAW experience and familiarity with stainless steel, carbon steel, or process piping.
  • Ability to read construction drawings and follow welding procedures.
  • Welding certifications are a plus.
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance required.
