Overview

O2 Treehouse is a custom treehouse construction company that combines modern engineering with traditional craftsmanship. They are seeking a versatile Carpenter/Fabricator to work primarily in their wood shop, building treehouse components and providing occasional field support.

Responsibilities

  • Build treehouse components to precise specifications in the in-house wood shop.
  • Provide occasional field support on installations throughout the North Bay.
  • Travel and stay overnight near project sites as needed.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of carpentry, fabrication, and/or finish carpentry experience.
  • Ability to read shop floor drawings.
  • Attention to detail and a desire to build to a high standard.
  • Ability to develop creative fabrication solutions.
  • Working knowledge of standard woodworking tools.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Time management skills and ability to self-prioritize workload.
  • Well organized with a positive attitude toward work and problem-solving.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
  • Ability to work in the shop 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week, with flexibility for field days.
  • Working knowledge of Slack is a plus.
  • Ability to lead is a plus but not required.
  • Valid California Driver's License.
  • Cell phone.
  • Ability to maintain certification in required safety training.
