Overview

Exentec U.S. Inc. is seeking a Welder specializing in Plastic Fabrication to contribute to engineering excellence in high-tech markets such as semiconductors and biotechnology. The role involves fabricating and welding plastic components while ensuring quality and production standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and follow CAD drawings and production documentation.
• Fabricate, assemble, and weld plastic components with minimal supervision.
• Identify weld defects, perform troubleshooting, and adjust equipment as needed.
• Develop and use templates and fixtures for accurate fabrication.
• Conduct self-inspections to verify workmanship and quality adherence.
• Cut, drill, shape, and prepare plastic materials safely.
• Collaborate with team members to support project completion.
• Communicate quality, safety, and process concerns promptly.
• Perform tool maintenance and additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Two to four years of experience in manufacturing or fabrication.
• Two to four years of experience in plastic welding or fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and production documentation.
• Experience operating plastic welding equipment and fabrication tools.
• Ability to perform self-inspection and recognize weld defects.
• Experience working with thermoplastic materials such as PVC and HDPE.
• Strong attention to detail and personal accountability.
• Basic math skills for measurements and quality checks.
• Effective communication skills for understanding instructions.
