Overview

ASC, a division of Lift Solutions, has been a trusted leader in the material handling and rigging industry for over 50 years, providing high-quality rigging products and services. They are currently seeking a Welder to join their Rigging team at ASC in East Hazel Crest, IL.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret manufacturing prints to determine correct fit and tolerances.
  • Understand welding machine operation and fitter/welding burning equipment.
  • Perform all functions associated with welding preparation and welding.
  • Conduct appropriate quality checks of equipment.
  • Determine correct machine settings and tolerances.
  • Monitor work environment for hazards and maintain healthy ventilation levels.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience in TIG and general fabrication skills required.
  • Must have basic skill set to operate all welding tools safely and effectively.
  • Ability to work independently in a production-oriented environment.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
