Overview

The Maintenance Mechanic I at Keurig Dr Pepper is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various machinery and mechanical/electrical equipment, primarily focusing on the utilities side of maintenance. The company is a leading beverage provider with a diverse portfolio of brands and aims to enhance the beverage experience while positively impacting communities and the planet.

Responsibilities

  • Observes equipment to ensure it operates to OEM standards or production satisfaction.
  • Analyzes mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical problems, making repairs through adjustments or part replacements.
  • Responds to maintenance calls in a timely manner and assists others in troubleshooting.
  • Performs routine PMs, repairs, rebuilds, and modifications on all assigned equipment.
  • Wires moderately complex control circuits.
  • Replaces, substitutes, sets up, and calibrates electronic components.
  • Fabrics, repairs, and installs hangers and various types of piping.
  • Welds various types of metals.
  • Machines most metals, plastics, and composites.
  • Fabricates or replicates minor pieces for equipment repairs or replacements.
  • Completes size changeovers, adjustments, and troubleshooting for liquid fillers and packaging equipment.
  • Identifies problems and completes repairs with minimal downtime or supervision.
  • Troubleshoots 3ph 480V motors and VFDs.
  • Completes necessary paperwork associated with repairs or calibration.
  • Completes assigned Work Orders.
  • Provides coverage and assistance throughout the facility to meet production schedules.
  • Ensures all work activities meet quality, safety, and compliance standards.
  • Follows company policies and GMPs.
  • Maintains a high level of safety awareness and reports unsafe conditions.

Requirements

  • 1 year of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 1 year of experience troubleshooting 3 phase (480V) circuits, motor starters, and controls.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds repeatedly.
  • Ability to walk and stand for long periods.
