Overview

Power Solutions International (PSI) is a leading manufacturer of emissions-certified powertrains, specializing in customized and fully integrated turnkey solutions for global equipment manufacturers in various markets. The Assembly Team Member assembles or installs components in compliance with engineering drawings and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble or install engine components and mechanical assemblies using hand tools and electronic tooling according to blueprints and work instructions.
  • Verify product quality based on work instructions and report defective materials or conditions.
  • Examine parts using micrometers to measure dimensions and detect deficiencies.
  • Lift and/or carry up to 40 pounds of materials to assist in production.
  • Learn and execute team lifts for items over 40 pounds and adhere to safety procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to apply math and read instruction manuals/diagrams.
  • Mechanical aptitude or experience in automotive assembly or high-volume manufacturing.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain Lift Truck, Crane, or other equipment certification through PSI training.
  • Experience using micrometers, calipers, and hand tools.
  • Prior experience or certifications in Electrical, Plumbing, Fabrication, Machining, or Automotive.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and/or ISO9001 methodologies.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
