Overview

The Blow Mold Maintenance Technician is a hands-on technical resource responsible for resolving equipment problems affecting production and diagnosing production issues. This role involves identifying and resolving tooling and machine-related issues, procuring replacement parts, and performing equipment repairs.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a hands-on technical resource for resolving equipment problems affecting production.
  • Identify and resolve tooling and machine related issues.
  • Identify corrective actions, procure replacement parts, and perform equipment repairs.
  • Perform HVAC maintenance.
  • Help clean and maintain equipment in like-new conditions.
  • Assist with mold sets and tooling changes.
  • Perform work order tasks entered into the company’s MP2 computerized maintenance management system.
  • Train operators and line workers to become maintenance technicians.
  • Be the first responder to and correct all line breakdowns.
  • Provide prompt notification of any equipment breakdowns.
  • Conduct line leak reviews and construct hydraulic hoses and water lines.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and regularly clean work area, machines, and equipment.
  • Identify and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Maintain an open and candid working relationship with immediate supervisor/manager.
  • Adhere to established company values, practices, policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate regular and punctual attendance at the assigned work location.
