Overview

Avery Dennison Corporation is a global materials science and digital identification solutions company that provides products and solutions to optimize labor and supply chain efficiency. The company is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing operations by ensuring equipment reliability and operational uptime.

Responsibilities

• Set up, assemble, adjust, and repair production machinery, including laminators, converting equipment, and robotics.
• Perform preventative maintenance and root-cause troubleshooting using maintenance ticketing software.
• Serve as the main site contact for facility maintenance and collaborate with external contractors.
• Diagnose electrical issues using a multimeter, read electrical schematics, and terminate wiring.
• Manage spare parts inventory, order replacements, and train operators on upgraded equipment.
• Safely operate forklifts and power tools while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED OR 5+ years of mechanical or automotive maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Proficiency with computer applications, including MS Office and digital maintenance work order software.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, work in varied physical positions, and wear required PPE.
• Ability to attend 2 weeks of paid initial training in Conway, AR, with willingness to travel to remote sites as needed.

Additional Information

• Shift: Monday – Friday, 8-Hour Day Shift (Flexible, 40 hours/week)
• Job requires standing over 75% of the time on a daily basis.
• The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and high noise levels.
