The Fabricator position involves assembling power units, skids, or sub-assemblies from various materials and processes. Responsibilities

• Operate various tools such as saws, benders, and drill press.
• Use overhead crane, hoist, or forklifts to assemble components.
• Drill and tape holes to common industry standards.
• Read and follow drawings, prints, and component installation instructions.
• Run and terminate simple electrical wiring per drawings or schematics.
• Fabricate small brackets and assemblies requiring minimal welding.
• Route and install hydraulic hose, tubing, and fittings from schematics.
• Assemble hydraulic components such as pumps, valves, filters, and heat exchangers.
• Maintain a neat and clean work area.
• Ensure the quality of parts produced.
• Complete tasks in a timely fashion.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Three years related experience as a technician.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to pay attention to details.
• Accept responsibility for actions.
• Ability to properly convey ideas or concepts.
• Accept constructive criticism without becoming defensive.
