Overview

Amrize is seeking a Maintenance Technician Apprentice to join their team in Lewisville, TX. This full-time position involves maintaining and repairing plant machinery and equipment while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains, inspects, repairs, moves, and/or installs plant machinery and equipment.
  • Completes work orders by installing, repairing and fabricating materials out of metal.
  • Conducts routine inspections of plant and mobile equipment and reports findings.
  • Assists personnel in completing their activities.
  • Maintains shop, equipment, tools, and vehicles for safety and availability.
  • Diagnoses and troubleshoots equipment failures.
  • Assures compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
  • Inspects condition and operation of plant equipment and performs necessary repairs.
  • Disassembles and repairs production equipment by replacing worn or broken parts.
  • Promotes a culture of safety and adheres to health, safety and environmental policies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Specialized training in trade school, technical school, apprenticeships, or manufacturers’ training program.
  • Basic computer proficiency and good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team atmosphere and learn new tasks.
  • Must be able to work unsupervised.
  • Commitment to health, safety and environmental policies.
