Custom Truck One Source is seeking a Field Service Diesel Mechanic in Decatur, GA, to perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on truck-mounted equipment. Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain bucket trucks and aerial devices.
  • Repair digger derricks and truck-mounted cranes.
  • Work on hydraulic utility equipment and major components.
  • Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and on-site diagnostics.
  • Read and interpret manuals, schematics, and repair orders.
  • Use laptops and diagnostic software to identify issues.
  • Complete documentation accurately, including repair orders and timecards.
  • Communicate with customers and CTOS teams to minimize downtime.
  • Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in ongoing CTOS and manufacturer training.
  • Travel within and occasionally beyond your assigned territory.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 5+ years of related experience in field or shop tech.
  • Valid driver’s license (CDL Class B preferred).
  • Must provide your own mechanic tools.
  • Proficiency using documentation software and managing time effectively.
