Overview

DJS Manufacturing, a division of Wisconsin Stamping & Manufacturing, is seeking a highly motivated MIG/TIG Welder for their growing manufacturing company. The role involves fabricating and welding components in various materials while ensuring customer specifications are met.

Responsibilities

  • Set-up, lay-out, tack-up and weld sheet metal in constructing customer parts and components
  • Tack and/or weld metal parts together using MIG and/or TIG welding
  • Safely apply welds per specifications to produce completed product
  • Monitor the fitting, burning, and welding processes to avoid overheating of parts or warping, shrinking, distortion, or expansion of material
  • Capable of porosity-free TIG welding and MIG welding

Requirements

  • 2+ years of MIG and/or TIG welding experience
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Ability to set-up jobs from prints
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attendance
  • Positive, 'can do' attitude

What you'll be running

This posting calls for MIG and TIG work. MIG (GMAW) feeds a continuous wire electrode through a shielding-gas nozzle.
