Overview

H3 Manufacturing is seeking a 1G/2G/3G MIG & TIG Welder for a full-time position on the 2nd shift in Fisher, IL. The role involves welding and fabricating parts according to blueprint specifications, requiring ITAR compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Weld and fabricate parts according to blueprint specifications.
  • Fit and weld steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other metal parts using MIG/TIG/FLUX and/or Stick processes.
  • Pass a 1G/2G/3G weld test.
  • Join and repair metal and other welding materials using appropriate welding techniques.
  • Utilize measuring equipment to ensure quality work.
  • Measure, mark, and scribe dimensions and reference points on materials as guides for welding.
  • Verify conformance of finished workpieces to blueprint specifications using precision measuring instruments.
  • Operate and observe equipment to detect malfunctions or non-conforming conditions.
  • Maintain welding equipment in good working condition.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to achieve production goals.
  • Record and report production data accurately and timely.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance welding processes.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Welding school preferred.
  • Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR.

Additional Information

  • Direct hire only; no recruiters or phone calls.
  • Pay starts from $26.00/hr and includes a 10% shift differential for 2nd shift.
