Overview

Trident Consulting is seeking a Gas Turbine Mechanic for one of our clients in Houston, TX. This position is with a global leader in business and technology services.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate familiarity with hand, pneumatic, and hydraulic tooling.
  • Accurately use precision measuring equipment such as ID/OD/depth micrometers and calipers.
  • Comprehend complex machining or assembly drawings independently.
  • Work as a team member to follow detailed work routers for inspection and repair of units and rotating equipment under time constraints.
  • Provide on-site support as needed.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in troubleshooting, testing, assembling, disassembling, and visually inspecting aero equipment.
  • Experience in repairing and modifying non-conforming equipment.
  • Capability to perform testing with minimal supervision/instruction.
  • Familiarity with hand, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Additional Information

  • Location: Houston, TX - Contract
  • Duration: 12 months
  • Pay: $25/hr on W2 (Inclusive all)
  • Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm
