Overview

The Tiffany Workshop in Pelham, NY is renowned for its fine jewelry and craftsmanship. The High Jewelry Jeweler is tasked with fabricating high-end jewelry pieces in gold and platinum, adhering to Tiffany and Company’s aesthetic and quality standards while developing craft skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support the physical construction of new and repeatable High Jewelry products according to project delivery timelines.
  • Responsible for cast cleaning, assembly, and repair of platinum and gold jewelry of all complexity levels with various diamonds and precious stones.
  • Follow directions from peer coach and management.
  • Handle all diamonds and precious stones, ensuring they are protected to avoid damage.
  • Improve overall efficiency by adhering to prescribed routing steps and standard completion times.
  • Communicate effectively to keep the Manager updated on project status, issues, and concerns.
  • Identify potential barriers to meeting completion timelines as soon as they arise.
  • Perform other duties as required by the business.
  • Verify the accuracy of work orders regarding tracking location and high-value components.
  • Notify the manager of any discrepancies immediately.
  • Comply with security operating procedures.
  • Put away all materials and work orders before exiting the facility.

Requirements

  • Bench experience in high-end jewelry manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of complex and intricate jewelry construction and polishing as well as precious metal properties.
  • Organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate issues clearly in a team environment.
  • Ability to effectively interact with clients and multiple staff levels.
  • Ability to work overtime to support business needs.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
