Overview

NMB Manufacturing is seeking an experienced Welder to join their fabrication team in the Tulsa area, focusing on quality welding of various components.

Responsibilities

  • Welding pressure vessels, piping, skids, and fabricated components.
  • Performing TIG and Flux Core welding.
  • Reading and following weld procedures and fabrication drawings.
  • Maintaining high-quality welds and meeting production schedules.
  • Working safely and keeping the work area organized.

Requirements

  • Experience with TIG (GTAW) welding.
  • Experience with Flux Core (FCAW) welding.
  • Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings.
  • Experience welding carbon steel and stainless steel.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment preferred.

What you'll be running

This posting calls for TIG and Flux-Core work. TIG (GTAW) uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode with filler added by hand, giving the operator the most control of any process. It is slow, demanding, and the standard for stainless, aluminum, and anything where the bead has to look as good as it holds. Flux-cored (FCAW) runs a hollow wire filled with flux, combining MIG-like deposition rates with the outdoor tolerance of stick. It is the workhorse on heavy structural steel and shipbuilding, where thick sections and long welds reward speed.
