Job Description

Overview

APTIM is seeking motivated and proactive entry level engineers to join their team serving Federal Fueling programs, which provide engineering and construction services for fueling facilities. This role involves applying critical thinking and practical field awareness across all phases of project execution, offering significant opportunities for professional growth while solving complex engineering challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret specifications, drawings, scopes of work, and field-collected data.
  • Prepare scopes of work, specifications, drawings, material lists, estimates, calculations, work methods, and project reports.
  • Complete requests for information (RFIs), review submittals, and select materials.
  • Apply and uphold standards from relevant governing bodies to ensure compliance.
  • Observe construction activities and verify compliance with codes and standards.
  • Work directly with subcontractors to clarify technical requirements and resolve challenges.
  • Organize and manage required documents for construction activities and regulatory requirements.
  • Gather productivity data for construction activities to support estimating and planning.

Requirements

  • BS Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be a US Citizen and able to pass a background check.
  • Previous experience preferred.
  • FE and EIT candidates preferred.
  • Willingness to travel 10-15% of the time.
  • AutoCAD experience preferred.
