Overview

We are a well-established and respected manufacturer of overhead cranes, known for our commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. As we continue to grow and evolve, we’re seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to take charge of our structural engineering team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide cross-functional engineering support across departments including manufacturing, sales, service, and installation.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in design practices, production processes, and quality control.
  • Create and review approval and shop drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Perform structural and component analysis in accordance with CMAA standards using proprietary tools and Excel-based resources.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and production readiness of team design outputs.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to provide preliminary engineering support for customer quotations.
  • Requisition necessary structural and mechanical components for ongoing and upcoming projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Structural, or Civil Engineering.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel-based engineering tools.
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentorship experience.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be located in or willing to relocate to Houston, TX.
