Responsibilities

  • Operate a robotic welder.
  • Perform light maintenance such as replacing wire or changing weld tips.
  • Conduct quality checks using approved tools.
  • Inform supervisors of any equipment-related problems affecting quality.
  • Perform manual welding as needed to touch up parts.
  • Accurately clock jobs and parts.
  • Follow instructions from Steel Tech Enterprises and equipment documentation.
  • Maintain all required documentation.
  • Exhibit consistent safe working habits.
  • Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain a clean and clutter-free work area.

Requirements

  • Willingness to learn and be trained on robotic welding tasks.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and safety rules.
  • Ability to read different measuring tools.
  • Ability to routinely bend and squat.
  • Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to repetitively grasp.
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
