Overview

Challenge is a well-established industry leader in the production of commercial cooking equipment, offering excellent pay, generous benefits, and a climate-controlled work environment. The company has openings for Amada Laser and Press Brake Operators to set up, operate, and maintain CNC equipment used to fabricate production sheet metal parts.

Responsibilities

  • Perform documented repeat setups on sheet metal fabricating equipment.
  • Ready equipment for operation by powering up and initializing control and tool/slide positions.
  • Load and align part/material in machine and execute production part fabrication operation.
  • Separate parts and trim, deburr, or smooth edges or surfaces as required.
  • Inspect workpiece for conformance to specifications using measuring devices.
  • Maintain equipment tooling by performing routine adjustments or requesting service.
  • Record production and quality assurance data on designated forms.
  • Perform all job activities in accordance with training and established procedures.
  • Maintain work area in a neat and orderly manner.
