Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Foreman/Fabricator to lead fabrication projects and oversee daily operations on construction sites. This role combines hands-on metal fabrication with team leadership, ensuring that all work meets safety standards, quality expectations, and project deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise fabrication teams on-site, coordinating tasks to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
  • Interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate metal components.
  • Operate and maintain welding equipment including MIG, TIG, FCAW, Stick, and Gas Metal Arc Welding processes in accordance with AWS standards.
  • Use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
  • Perform sheet metal fabrication.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety protocols, ASME codes & standards, and company policies.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of work progress, inspection reports, and safety logs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in construction site environments with a focus on metal fabrication and welding techniques.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and interpreting mechanical blueprints.
  • Hands-on experience with power tools, hand tools, rigging equipment, pipe threading tools, machining equipment, and plasma cutters.
  • Strong knowledge of welding processes including MIG, TIG, FCAW, SMAW, and gas metal arc welding standards.
  • Ability to operate measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers accurately for quality control.
  • Mechanical knowledge of metal materials including sheet metal fabrication and ductwork assembly.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols related to construction sites and fabrication shops; adherence to OSHA regulations preferred.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations involved in fabrication tasks.
  • Experience operating forklifts or other heavy machinery is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards.

What you'll be running
