Overview

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Sheet Metal Foreman to lead field crews on commercial HVAC and sheet metal projects throughout the San Antonio area. The Foreman will oversee daily field operations, coordinate manpower and materials, read construction drawings, maintain quality and safety standards, and keep projects on schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Lead commercial sheet metal/HVAC crews.
  • Read blueprints, plans, and shop drawings.
  • Coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment.
  • Oversee commercial ductwork and HVAC installations.
  • Coordinate work with other trades.
  • Maintain project schedules and production.
  • Inspect work for quality and accuracy.
  • Identify and resolve jobsite issues.
  • Train and direct crew members.
  • Enforce company safety policies and OSHA standards.
  • Communicate progress and issues with project management.
  • Assist with inspections and punch-list completion.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of commercial sheet metal/HVAC experience preferred.
  • Previous Foreman or Lead Installer experience preferred.
  • Strong commercial ductwork installation knowledge.
  • Ability to read mechanical plans and blueprints.
  • Knowledge of commercial construction practices.
  • Ability to coordinate with other trades.
  • Trade certifications are a plus.
