Responsibilities

  • Install and repair sheet metal ductwork and HVAC components on commercial construction projects
  • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and HVAC plans
  • Measure, cut, bend, and fasten sheet metal using hand and power tools
  • Install duct systems, fittings, VAV boxes, diffusers, and related accessories
  • Seal, insulate, and support ductwork per project specifications and code requirements
  • Coordinate work with foremen, supervisors, and other trades on site
  • Perform layout and field measurements accurately
  • Follow job site safety rules and OSHA regulations at all times
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work area
  • Assist with inspections, testing, and punch-list items as needed

  • HVAC Sheet metal install: 2 years (Required)
