Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Certified Welder / Fabricator to join our dynamic fabrication team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing precise welding and fabrication tasks on a variety of metal materials, ensuring all work aligns with industry standards and project specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication shop drawings to accurately execute welding and assembly tasks.
  • Perform various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, and SMAW in accordance with AWS standards.
  • Use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to verify dimensions and ensure quality control throughout fabrication processes.
  • Operate power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, and machining equipment safely and efficiently for cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components.
  • Fabricate sheet metal structures and components through cutting, bending, welding, and assembly while adhering to ASME codes & standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following strict safety protocols and proper handling of materials and equipment.
  • Collaborate with team members to interpret technical drawings accurately and complete projects within designated timelines.

Requirements

  • Proven construction site experience with metal fabrication projects preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, SMAW, and gas metal arc welding.
  • Experience working in a fabrication shop environment with sheet metal fabrication, mechanical fabrication, and assembly processes.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and shop math effectively.
  • Familiarity with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools used for quality assurance.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols related to welding operations, power tools usage, plasma cutting, machining, and handling of metal materials.
  • Ability to read mechanical blueprints accurately while adhering to industry standards like AWS and ASME codes.

What you'll be running
