Overview

IMT, an Oshkosh company, is a leading manufacturer of service vehicles and material handling systems, known for quality and performance in various industries. The weld department team members create service boxes from manufactured and purchased parts.

Responsibilities

  • Set up in fixtures and perform tack welding on all gauges of ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
  • Assemble and weld various metal parts according to IMT standards.
  • Cut, fit, heat, and bend materials while performing weld repairs and rebuilding parts as directed.
  • Operate overhead cranes.
  • Be a reliable and punctual team member.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in welding.
  • Basic blueprint reading skills.
  • Ability to read measuring instruments.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools.
  • High School diploma or GED.
