Overview

Elwood Staffing is seeking an experienced Welder to contribute to the future of clean energy. This position offers a comprehensive benefits package and a supportive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements
  • Set up, align, clamp, and prepare components for welding
  • Perform welding using manual or semi-automatic equipment
  • Weld in various positions, including vertical, horizontal, and overhead
  • Inspect finished welds for quality and accuracy
  • Maintain welding equipment and a safe, organized work area

Requirements

  • Proven welding experience
  • Experience with various welding equipment and techniques
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Proficient in English
  • Ability to work overtime, including weekdays and Saturdays, as needed
