Job Description

Overview

Desert Steel is seeking an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join their shop, specializing in the fabrication of fencing, decorative iron, and structural steel.

Responsibilities

  • Properly operate, set up, and adjust welding equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
  • Accurately lay out and fit material
  • Weld and finish fabricated components
  • Work safely and maintain a clean, organized work area
  • Work independently and take pride in the quality of your work

Requirements

  • Previous welding/fabrication experience required
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Reliable and dependable
  • Good attention to detail
  • Must be able to produce quality work consistently
