Overview

A Welder is responsible for executing accurate welding of various materials and thickness to fit the specifications of customers, with roles available for both robotic and manual welding.

Responsibilities

  • Program, set up, and operate welding equipment.
  • Troubleshoot robotic welding systems, controllers, sensors, and peripheral equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on welding robots and tooling.
  • Monitor weld quality and adjust to improve performance and consistency.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings.
  • Develop and optimize robotic welding programs to improve productivity and reduce scrap.
  • Maintain accurate production, maintenance, and quality records.
  • Follow all company safety procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on Safety, 5S, efficiency, quality, and cost reductions.
  • Ensure work meets quality standards.
  • Keep work area clean and organized.
  • Safely set up parts for welding using hand tools, clamps, jigs and fixtures.
  • Align, position and fit components into fixtures as instructed.
  • Set up operation of automated equipment.

Requirements

  • Proficient ability in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, etc.).
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • Welding experience or trade school welding program required.
  • Successful completion of an in-house weld test.
  • Ability to read tape measure accurately.
  • Great work ethic and attendance.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs.
  • High school diploma or GED required.

Additional Information

  • 1st shift 5:00am - 3:15pm or 2nd shift 3:00pm - 1:30am, Monday through Thursday (overtime hours as needed).

What you'll be running
