Overview

Cobra Scientific is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Electromechanical Technician to join their innovative manufacturing team. The role involves assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) electromechanical systems, with an emphasis on continuous learning and quality production.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble ultrasonic probes and accessories.
  • Conduct testing of NDT probes during the assembly process.
  • Interpret mechanical drawings.
  • Use ohmmeters to verify electrical resistance during assembly and testing phases of assemblies and assembly components.
  • Perform mechanical inspection of manufacturing components using precision calipers.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including inspection reports.

Requirements

  • Willingness to learn new skills in NDT manufacturing.
  • Ability to use a PC for documentation and testing.
  • Ability to read assembly instructions accurately.
  • Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, calipers, ohmmeters, and other precision measurement devices.
  • Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of machining processes and mechanical assembly practices.
  • Experience working in manufacturing environments adhering to company policy and safety standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail to ensure quality standards are met consistently.
  • Electrical experience is desirable but not required.
