Overview

The Maintenance Technician position focuses on customer support within the organization, involving the repair and preventative maintenance of various machinery, tools, and equipment across facilities. The role requires attention to detail, autonomy, and a strong emphasis on safety.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively and document repair work, write reports, and create documents.
  • Work with diverse teams both internally and externally.
  • Be flexible to work various hours and schedules based on business needs.
  • Maintain a safety-first mentality and uphold high-quality standards.
  • Demonstrate a positive mindset and proactively address issues.
  • Repair and replace defective equipment using hand and power tools.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure machines run smoothly.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and determine corrective actions.
  • Assemble, install, and repair electrical components, plumbing, and machinery.
  • Train and lead others in the department to meet objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of hands-on repair of electrical and mechanical systems on machinery.
  • Experience with hydraulic systems for repair and maintenance.
  • Experience with mechanical machine alignment checks and adjustments.
  • Education or training in electronics and electrical systems is desirable.
  • Forklift license required.
  • CNC machine repair experience and gantry mill repair experience are a plus.
  • Familiarity with Fanuc, Mazak, Siemens CNC controllers, PLC controllers, and servo systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with electrical and mechanical metal cutting equipment.
