Overview

The Test & Balance 1st Year Apprentice position at ABM involves working safely in a chemical factory while assisting experienced technicians in a semiconductor facility. The role emphasizes teamwork, accountability, and safety, with a focus on maintaining equipment balance and troubleshooting design issues.

Responsibilities

  • Work safely and follow all protocols to remain safe while working in a chemical factory.
  • Collaborate closely with experienced Testing, Adjusting and Balancing Technicians.
  • Maintain system and equipment balance during new installations and de-installation of old equipment.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to air requirements of process equipment.
  • Work as a team and ensure accountability for safety.
  • Assist in emergencies as needed during evenings and weekends.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be a Sheetmetal Workers Union #359 member or willing to sign up.
  • Must pass a drug screening including THC.
  • Must pass a background check including a criminal history check.
